Hye,

To use the jar you must have a 1.4 SDK.
(you can download it at http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html).

Under windows, you can launch a jar with javaw.exe which is in the bin
directory of java SDK.
You should have it in contextual menu.

Version 1.0 allowes you to configure sites and view only interresting
links.
You can't create rss files with it.

I send you a version with which you can create rss files.
At the moment, I don't have windows, so I didn't test it under windows
and it's not a final version.

When you launch HyperlinkExtractor, it creates a directory named
.HyperlinkExtractor in your account home (in "Documents and Settings").

I f you want to create rss files, you must create a file named
transfertRss.sh and put it in the .HyperlinkExtractor directory.
This file is called for each rss file created.
The only parameter is the name of the rss file.
all rss files are located in the directory tmp/generatedrss/ inside
.HyperlinkExtractor.

I send you and example script which works under "Mac Os X".

You are welcome for comments and questions.

Pascal
